The Scopus MIFARE DESFire ISO card is a white PVC laminated card compliant with the ISO/IEC 14443A standard. It is ideal for service providers wishing to use multi-application smart cards in transport schemes, e-government or identity applications. It fully meets the requirements for fast, highly secure data transmission, flexible memory organisation and interoperability with existing infrastructure. MIFARE DESFire EV2 is the latest addition to the MIFARE DESFire product family featuring new functionalities with enhanced performance for the best user experience. The MIFARE DESFire EV2 is certified to the Common Criteria EAL5+ standard which is the same level of security certification required for smart card IC products used for example for bank cards or electronic passports. The MIFARE DESFire EV2 is based on global open standards for air interface and cryptographic methods. It complies with all levels of ISO/IEC 14443A and supports optional ISO/IEC 7816-4 commands (APDU and file structure supported) and is fully interoperable with the existing MIFARE reading infrastructure.
