MACS MobileID enables simple, automatic mobile identification across multiple solutions. Multiple identifiers can be used for a single user.
MobileID is an independent system that works in parallel with or replaces RFID badges or other deployed identification technologies.
With automatic detection of the reader’s intended use, MACS ensures simple, efficient multi-application and multi-identifier operation. The service can be easily connected to any existing or new system.
MobileID runs on a wide range of reader resources adapted to the access control, time management, catering, secure printing, EV recharging, vending machines, forklifts, dispensing cabinets, etc.
Mobile identifiers are used as an alternative to physical badges, particularly in the case of physical access control (PACS), but also in any other application using badge-based identification.
Identifiers can be generated in the MobileID web platform or transmitted via file exchange or dynamic API link.
The cloud service transfers these credentials encapsulated in a secure token (AES-128 and SHA1/2) to the user’s smartphone(s) (possibility of limiting to one mobile device) via a secure channel with public encryption key (RSA-2048) and TLS authentication.
Users can identify themselves to the readers using an NFC and/or Bluetooth link on their smartphone.
The correct ID number for the reader’s application is automatically transmitted to the reader.
The identifier is then transmitted by the reader to the management system via its standard communication interface.
The size of the identifier is fully configurable.
ID management is dynamic. They can be revoked at any time.

These tokens guarantee the security of transactions and ensure a bidirectional exchange enabling automatic feedback of passage histories, technical information (e.g. battery status), blacklists, etc.

A token is generated for the combination of a user / smartphone / locking resource.
After an encryption challenge, it is transmitted to the locking resource via NFC or Bluetooth. The resource, or lock, decrypts the data and checks its validity. It then decides whether or not to unlock, based on the access rights received.
The lock logs the transaction and the returns to the token, which is automatically transmitted to the cloud service for archiving and consultation.
End-to-end security is guaranteed for mobile devices via a set of secure, tried-and-tested elements evaluated by formal audits.
